In Orange, to Sweep or Not to Sweep?
The city of Orange should be congratulated and supported for having the backbone to finally do something about the perpetual problem of illegal aliens gathering on streets to find work.
If anything, the force displayed by city police in conjunction with the INS has actually been minimal. I would like to see some really tough approach to rid this country of this menace.
In no way should the authorities let up on these sweeps. Go after the aliens, the employers, anybody who gets in the way. I wish other Orange County cities would have the intestinal fortitude to do this.
