Ingrid Kristiansen of Norway led all the way in winning a women’s 15-kilometer road race at Adelaide, Australia. It was the second consecutive year Kristiansen won the race.
Kristiansen, who turns 32 today, won the 9.3-mile race in 48 minutes 24 seconds. Xiuting Wang of China finished second in 50:18, and Zoia Ivanova of the Soviet Union was third in 50:28.
