Former Tennis Pro Inducted in Hall of Fame
Robert Chappell, a tennis pro turned industrial real estate marketing specialist with Daum/Johnstown American, has been inducted into UC Irvine’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
Chappell attended UC Irvine from 1970 until 1974, when he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Triangles of World Team Tennis. He was part of that team when it won the world championship in 1975. He has been with Daum/Johnstown American for three years.
