Baby Is Abandoned on Steps of Church
Authorities are seeking the identity of a baby boy found wrapped in a white blanket and left on the steps of St. John of God Catholic church in Norwalk Saturday.
Father Alberto Villalobos found the baby at 3:30 p.m. and called sheriff’s deputies. The boy, who is believed to be 3 days to 1 week old, has black hair and brown eyes. The child is being cared for by the Los Angeles County Department of Children’s Services.
