Facilities: Fire pits, picnic tables, volleyball courts, outdoor showers, dressing rooms, food concessions and rental store (summer only).
Description: Large, sandy beach just east of the east jetty at the entrance to Newport Harbor. Fee parking lot at the beach; limited street parking on the bluff. A concrete path leads to the beach from the bluff at the foot of Orchid Avenue. Rock jetty area used by surfers; diving and snorkeling at south end of beach. Beach is operated by City of Newport Beach.
Fees: In main lot, parking is $4 per car, $8 per bus and $2 per motorcycle in summer (last Saturday of March through first Sunday in September). Fees are $2 per car, $4 per bus and $1 per motorcycle in off-season.
