‘Coolee Bags’ Dropped After Chilling Relations

DETROIT —  The parent company of Great Scott Supermarkets Inc. has removed frozen food bags that an Asian-American group found offensive.

The bags, which bore a caricature of a child with slanted eyes and prominent teeth, carry the words “Coolee bag for your purchases of ice cream and frozen foods.”
