Gore Endorsed by Georgia’s Sen. Nunn

DOTHAN, Ala. — Georgia Sen. Sam Nunn released a statement Sunday saying he voted by absentee ballot earlier last week in Tuesday’s Democratic primary for Tennessee Sen. Albert Gore Jr.
Nunn, who is leaving on a trip to the Soviet Union, said he “voted absentee for Al Gore because his views come closest to my own views as to what our nation must do to meet our challenges at home and abroad.”
