“Woodsy,” the cute 8-month-old cocker spaniel at right, needs a home. The tan-and-white pooch is housebroken, good with children and loves to play. The puppy is available for adoption at the Humane Society of Huntington Beach, 21632 Newland St. (714) 536-8480.

Dalmatian: Stripes is 2 1/2 years old, black and white and is good with children. The dog loves to go on walks and requires a tall fence in yard.
Labrador-Newfoundlands: Two lovable female pups, 8 weeks old.
Cocker spaniel: Rusty, a 6-year-old neutered male, is housebroken. He loves to play ball and is good with children.
The Humane Society of Huntington Beach is open Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adoption fee: $45 and a two-week return policy. When an animal is returned, owners have up to a year to select another pet. The society offers a $10 spay/neuter refund, redeemable only at Magnolia Animal Hospital in Westminster or the AAA Animal Hospital in Huntington Beach.
