Southern Section High School Contests : Boys Basketball Playoff Games Start Tonight

The CIF Southern Section boys high school basketball playoffs will get under way at 7:30 tonight. Here are the games involving Southeast/Long Beach area schools:
5-A Division
Moore League champion and second-seeded Millikan (20-4) will play host to Pius X (9-3), which finished third in the Camino Real League.
Camino Real champion and second-seeded St. Anthony (21-4) will play host to Edison (16-10).
Jordan (13-11), the Moore League’s second-place team, will play host to Verbum Dei (12-9).
Lakewood (17-9), which finished third in the Moore League, will play at Loyola (19-5).
4-A Division
San Gabriel Valley League champion Warren (14-10) is home against Claremont (15-8).
Dominguez (14-11), the San Gabriel Valley runner-up, will play at Santa Ana (23-3).
3-A Division
Santa Fe (17-6), the Whitmont League champion, will be at home against Antelope Valley (10-11).
Montebello (16-6), second in the Whitmont League, will play host to Cypress (8-15).
2-A Division
Artesia (16-10), champion of the Suburban League, will play host to Righetti (13-8).
Norwalk (13-8), Suburban runner-up, will play at Victor Valley (19-5).
Bellflower (13-9), the Suburban League’s third-place team, will play at top-seeded Banning (25-0).
1-A Division
Third-seeded and Olympic League champion Whittier Christian (17-6) will play at home against the winner of the Cathedral-Faith Baptist wild card game.
