Sen. Biden on the Mend After Aneurysm Surgery

WASHINGTON — Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.) continues to improve following surgery last week to correct an aneurysm in an artery supplying blood to his brain, a spokesman for Walter Reed Army Medical Center said Tuesday. Pete Esker said Biden “spent a quiet night” after being transferred out of the intensive care unit.
