Defense Aide to Make Pacific, Asia Swing

WASHINGTON — Deputy Defense Secretary William H. Taft IV will leave Washington this week on an 11-day trip to the Pacific and Asia, the Pentagon said Friday.
Taft will visit Hawaii, Guam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, the Pentagon said.
