Westchester Girls Defeat Crenshaw, 74-61
Tammy Story scored 31 points and Trisha Stafford added 18 as Westchester, The Times’ top-ranked City team, scored a 74-61 Mid-City League victory over No. 2 Crenshaw Friday in girls’ high school basketball at Westchester.
Crenshaw (9-4) led, 41-39, at halftime but could manage only five points in the third quarter. Story led Westchester (12-2) with 19 points in the second half, and made three three-point shots.
