Wang Laboratories posted income of $34.1 million for its second quarter, a turnaround from a loss of $78.6 million a year ago. The Lowell, Mass., company said revenue rose 17% to $784.7 million, reflecting higher domestic and foreign orders. The year-ago period included restructuring charges of $37 million. “Prudent financial management and a revamped product line place us in better shape than we’ve been in for the past three years,” President Frederick A. Wang said.
