Sun Microsystems’ income jumped 65% to $14 million in its second quarter on revenue that rose 101.8% to $235.1 million. The Mountain View, Calif., company credited record sales and bookings, with demand especially strong for its 3/50 and 3/60 workstations. The firm also noted growth in European sales, which accounts for about a quarter of the company’s revenue.
