Lake Casitas Producing Trout, Largemouth Bass

Fishermen at Lake Casitas in Ventura County have been catching limits of trout regularly this month, and now with the recent warmer daytime temperatures, anglers have found a consistent largemouth bass bite as well.
Larry Derr of Playa del Rey, using a nightcrawler, caught a 13-pound bass. Jim Sylvester of Ojai, caught an 8-pounder on a plastic worm.
