Cable Survey to Be Mailed to Subscribers
The Hermosa Beach City Council voted unanimously to send a survey to cable television subscribers to determine whether customers are satisfied with their service.
The survey, prepared by the city’s Cable TV Board, will be mailed in about three weeks to subscribers of M. L. Media Partners. The questionnaire asks customers if they are satisfied with the quality of service, if complaints are handled promptly and if programming is satisfactory.
The city received increasing complaints about cable service after M. L. Media took over operations from Storer Cable a year ago, city officials said.
The City Council authorized spending $2,000 on the survey. Councilman Jim Rosenberger said: “I commend whoever put the survey together. I can’t wait to answer it in the privacy of my own home.”
