Teledyne’s income jumped 58% to $377.2 million for fiscal 1987, in part because of a $108.1-million gain from the sale of investments. The Los Angeles company also reported a $16.2-million gain for the year from a change in pension accounting. Revenue was down slightly at $3.22 billion, compared to $3.24 billion last year.
