Man Saves Woman From Train in China, Is Killed

BEIJING — A 43-year-old man sacrificed his life to save a woman from being run over by a freight train in southwest China, the New China News Agency reported Sunday.
It said the man saw the woman walking on the track only about 300 yards in front of the train in Guangxi region on Thursday morning and rushed to push her out of the way. She was saved but the man was hit by the train and died of his injuries, the agency said.
