Three top opposition leaders accepted an invitation by South Korean President Chun Doo Hwan to meet with him and discuss national reconciliation. Chun’s separate meetings with Kim Young Sam, Kim Dae Jung and Kim Jong Pil are expected to be held this week, said chief presidential secretary Kim Yoon Whan. The presidential aide said Chun wants a frank exchange of views with the three Kims before stepping down as president Feb. 25, when he will be succeeded by Roh. On Friday, the governing Democratic Justice Party and the main opposition parties held talks for the first time since the Dec. 16 presidential election.
