Robert Edward Lowenberg, the 19-year-old son of Cypress Police Chief Ronald Lowenberg, is scheduled to be sentenced Monday after pleading guilty to setting a fire Sept. 9 that charred 5,000 acres in Cleveland National Forest. He faces one to 10 years in prison, plus a possible $250,000 fine. Lowenberg has also been charged with misdemeanor credit card forgery in an unrelated case.
