Homeless:

Our readers wrote letters throughout 198 7 expressing their viewpoints on a variety of issues. Here are condensed versions of some of those letters. We appreciate their taking the time to share their viewpoints and look forward to hearing from you in 1988.
Although I am not a resident of Irvine, my son lived there and I know it to be a geographically lovely area of beautiful homes. But when I read about the protests to housing the homeless, I realized that this is just a facade.
Apparently, with all the things the resident have, many of them have no beauty in their hearts. To protest so vigorously against the use, by humans, of a refurbishable, unoccupied, posh kennel, makes one wonder what priorities these folks have.
