Local News in Brief : Acquittal in Bribery Case
- Share via
The assistant city engineer of Palmdale, Kehar Dhinsa, has been acquitted in Los Angeles Superior Court of charges that he solicited bribes from a private contractor acting as an inspector for the city.
Superior Court Judge Robert Altman found Dhinsa, 44, of Lancaster, not guilty, saying there was insufficient evidence to prove that he solicited $3,900 from Wilson Eshoo. Altman heard the case without a jury.
Dhinsa was arrested last May.
