Brea Penalty Kick Ties Ocean View, 3-3

Matt Swindle scored on a penalty kick with 18 minutes left in the game to lift Brea-Olinda High School to a 3-3 tie with Ocean View Thursday in a boys’ nonleague soccer game played at Ocean View.
Swindle is 5 for 5 on penalty-kick opportunities this season.
David Trenko had scored two first-half goals for Ocean View (2-2-3), which opened a 2-1 lead at halftime. Mark Roosen scored on a corner kick to give Ocean View a 3-1 lead early in the second half.
But Brea-Olinda (3-2-4) came back on second-half goals by J.R. Ochs and Swindle. Tony Capalona had scored the first half goal for Brea.
Goalies Danny La France of Brea and Eric Anderson of Ocean View each had nine saves.
