The final phase of the $200-million Biltmore Place project has been completed in downtown Los Angeles, adding more than 20,000 square feet of retail space to the landmark Biltmore Hotel and 380,000 square feet of office space in the Court and Tower additions.
The retail facilities are located along the interior galeria of the hotel, as well as along Grand Avenue, 5th Street and Olive Street, according to Gary Stougaard of Biltmore Properties, owner of the property.
“We hope to add as many as 15 new retail tenants,” said Marshall Green of Sidney S. Rice & Associates, the Beverly Hills firm handling retail leasing. “This is a great central location for marketing to the large office complexes being created in downtown Los Angeles.”
Owner of the hotel since 1984, Biltmore Partners is a California limited partnership managed by First Boston Real Estate.
