Service for Women Who Died in El Salvador Set
A memorial service remembering four Lutheran women who died in El Salvador in December, 1980, will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the First Lutheran Church, 1420 3rd Ave.
The Rev. Earl Johnson, a peace and justice activist, will conduct the service and discuss his recent trip to El Salvador.
Sponsors for the program include the Interfaith Task Force on Central America, the First Lutheran Church and the San Diego County Ecumenical Conference. The service is free and open to the public.
