Price of Chili Could Reach $1 Million

The price of Chili? It could come to $1 million.
It was learned Wednesday that free agent outfielder Chili Davis’ 1988 contract with the Angels contains the following provisions:
--A guaranteed salary of $850,000.
--A $50,000 bonus for appearing in 130 games.
--A $50,000 bonus for appearing in 150 games.
--A $50,000 bonus for election or selection to the All-Star team.
Davis was paid $815,000 by the San Francisco Giants last season.
