Aaron Emanuel, former USC football player convicted of misdemeanor battery on Aug. 21, began serving a 15-day jail sentence in Pasadena.
Emanuel, 20, is expected to serve a term of 10 consecutive days rather than the original sentence of 15 days to be served only on weekends, Municipal Court officials said.
