Kaunda Says Zambia Won’t Recognize Israel

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Zambian President Kenneth D. Kaunda says his country will not recognize Israel.
In an interview published Saturday in the Saudi newspaper Okaz, Kaunda said there is no difference between Israel and the “racist regime of South Africa.”
He said Zambia does not want relations with Israel as long as it refuses to pull out of occupied Arab territory.
