West Hollywood : Gold Medal for Student

A senior at UCLA has received a Gold Medal from the Congressional Awards Program for academic and physical achievement and his voluntary service to events and organizations such as UCLA’s Homecoming, the Venice High School Alumni Assn. and the Boy Scouts.
Todd Kelly, 21, was awarded the medal by U. S. Rep. Julian C. Dixon (D-Los Angeles).
Kelly, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack T. Kelly of Los Angeles, is an Eagle Scout, a straight-A graduate of Venice High School and member of the UCLA Alumni Scholars Club.
The Congressional Awards Program was founded in 1979 to recognize voluntary public service, personal development and physical fitness by young people, 14 through 23 years of age.
