Casting was announced Wednesday for the Dec. 10 performance of the American Ballet Theatre’s production of “The Sleeping Beauty” at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa. Christine Dunham will dance the role of Princess Aurora. Ricardo Bustamante will appear as Prince Desiree. Other principals will include Leslie Browne as the Lilac Fairy; Clark Tippet as the Fairy Carabosse; Alessandra Ferri as the Princess Florine, and John Gardner as the Bluebird. Choreography by Kenneth MacMillan (after Petipa); music by Tchaikovsky.
