Concerning the passage in “Sears Strikes Back,” by Donald R. Katz (Sept. 27), that read: “To many members of Mexican-American households, a job working for Sears was nearly as valuable as the residency documents that made it legal to work at all.” Please inform Katz that Mexican-Americans are U.S. citizens, and as such do not value the residency documents that they therefore don’t need to make it legal to work.
