Pros and Cons on California’s Mandatory Auto Insurance Law

The Supreme Court may say that mandatory car insurance is legal, but that doesn’t make it enforceable.
Many Californians would comply if they could afford to. Current rates are ruinous, and this ruling will make the companies bolder than ever.
Obviously, the insurance lobby has more clout in Sacramento than the voters do. We can fight back with a little civil disobedience.
