Wedman Tries Out With the Clippers
Veteran Scott Wedman, a 6-foot 7-inch, 220-pound forward, tried out for the Clippers after practice Tuesday night.
Wedman, who played just six games for the Boston Celtics last season due to a foot injury, was traded to Seattle during the off-season and was later waived.
“We liked what we saw,” Clipper Coach Gene Shue said, adding that Wedman would undergo a physical exam today.
Wedman, 35, has averaged 13.2 points in 13 seasons in the National Basketball Assn.
