Foodmaker’s income rose 50% to $13.9 million for the fiscal year ended Sept. 27. The San Diego-based operator and franchiser of Jack in the Box restaurants credited increased sales resulting from new products and the “Serious Food” advertising campaign. For the fourth quarter, the company reported a 109.5% increase in earnings to $4.4 million. Revenue for the fiscal year rose 7.5% to $598.3 million.
