How low can the networks go? That’s the question I’ve been asking myself since I saw NBC’s excruciatingly bad new series “A Different World.” Although “The Cosby Show” itself has been weak the last two seasons, this spinoff is plumbing the depths of stupidity and banality. However, it will continue to enjoy success as long as it is safely tucked between “Cosby” and the fantastic “Cheers.” Hopefully, someone will have the guts to bring viewers a real different world. “Our World.” Please?!!
