Representatives of 15 Australian firms will be in Los Angeles next week to develop long-term business arrangements with Southern California firms.
The Australians, who will be here Thursday and Friday, are seeking U.S. “partner companies” for the purposes of technology transfer, formation of joint ventures, licensing arrangements, collaborative research and development, cross-marketing and trade.
Areas of interest include: laser/holography applications, pharmaceuticals, computer software, electronic-based products for communications and machine controls, flow valves, robotics, breweries, truck-leveling suspension systems, shop fabrication and on-site construction works.
