Member of Cocaine Ring Gets 12-Year Sentence
A Montebello man, described by a federal judge as a narcotics “mule” who ferried $1 million in proceeds for a major cocaine trafficking ring, was sentenced Friday to 12 years in prison.
In imposing the sentence on Arturo de la Torre, 33, U.S. District Judge Edward Rafeedie said the defendant “was involved in trafficking on a very large scale.”
