McGEE TAKES POST AT NEW MUSEUM
Mike McGee will leave his post as programs coordinator for the Laguna Art Museum on Thursday to become senior curator of the new Modern Museum of Art in Santa Ana.
McGee has administered the Laguna Art Museum’s education and exhibition programs since he joined the staff in January, 1986.
His plans for departure were reported last week but were not completed until this week. The Modern Museum opened Sept. 19 with an exhibit of works by Mexican painter Rufino Tamayo.
