Don’t Blame Hagler If He Goes Into Hiding

After reading “From Marvelous to Mysterious” (Aug. 31), I think it is obvious what Marvin Hagler has been up to since his world middleweight boxing championship loss to Sugar Ray Leonard. He is hiding from your staff writers who will try any cheap shot to create a story.
An article such as this is destructive to the world of sporting achievements and sportsmanship.
