2 S. African Military Fliers Die in Crash

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa — Two South African air force officers were killed when their plane crashed during a reconnaissance mission on the border between Angola and Namibia (South-West Africa), the South African army announced Monday.
A military communique said that the plane, a locally made Bosbok light aircraft, was on a reconnaissance flight last Thursday over the south Angolan border, but it gave no other details of the mission.
