Earlier Dates, TV Scheduled for Milwaukee Golf

MILWAUKEE — The Greater Milwaukee Open golf tournament will be guaranteed network television coverage and earlier playing dates starting in 1988 because of a $1.5 million donation by Jane and Lloyd Pettit.
The GMO, scheduled Sept. 17-20 this year at Tuckaway Country Club in Franklin, will move to Sept. 8-11 next year and probably will be played earlier than that beginning in 1989.
