Construction has begun on the $21-million College Business Park, a 26-acre commercial and industrial complex at Foothill Boulevard and Padua Avenue, straddling the border of Upland and Claremont.
The first phase of the project will include six multitenant buildings with a total of 112,384 square feet of light-industrial space. Occupancy is scheduled for September.
The second phase will add 11 buildings with about 210,000 square feet of space for office or other uses and will be completed next March. The project is a joint venture of Tokyo-based Hazama-Gumi Ltd. and The Mat West Co. of Van Nuys.
The San Dimas office of Mat West and the San Gabriel office of the Seeley Co. are leasing agents.
