Growth Reflections

Ralph Frammolino’s story, “Slow-Growth Forces Now Hold City Hall Power,” (Aug. 9), all but canonized the “players” he identified. Well, as a native-born San Diegan, it appears to me that his beatified are a major part of the problem. They’re complaining about growth in San Diego, and they’re newcomers themselves--the very source of the problem they decry! Linda Martin came here from the Midwest less than five years ago, where she and her first husband were developers.
Those folks who find San Diego’s growth intolerable would contribute markedly to its control if all of them would just get out of town.
