Pacoima Man Killed as Cycle Hits Pickup

Francisco Olguin, 26, of Pacoima was killed early Saturday when he rode his motorcycle at high speed into the back of a pickup truck on the Golden State Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred at 2:50 a.m. on the northbound freeway south of Van Nuys Boulevard, CHP Officer Bill Burdick said.
The motorcyclist’s speed at the time he hit the pickup was estimated at 80 to 100 m.p.h., Burdick said.
The driver of the pickup, John Milton, 29, of Burbank, and his passenger, Laura Marlow, 23, of Canoga Park, were not injured, the officer said.
