Work Begun on First Phase of Business Complex in Torrance
Construction has begun on the first phase of Victory Center, a 24-acre business complex in Torrance that will be worth more than $40 million when it is completed.
The first phase of the project, located on the north side of Sepulveda Boulevard between Normandie and Western avenues, calls for construction of 18 buildings with a total of 149,317 square feet of industrial space. Completion is expected by fall.
An additional 15 industrial buildings will be added in the second phase, and five acres have been earmarked for restaurants, banking and other retail uses.
BCE Development Inc. of Newport Beach is the developer of the project. The South Bay office of Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services is handling marketing duties.
