Alemany, Cleveland Alumni Post Victories
David Djolakian scored 25 points to lead Alemany High to an 80-63 win over Chatsworth in a first-round game of an alumni basketball tournament Thursday night at San Fernando High.
Fernando Lopez added 14 points and Clyde Fontenette and David Swanson each had 12 for Alemany.
Brian Richardson led Chatsworth with 26 points and Artie Falk added 13. The Chancellors had only five players available for the game.
In another first-round game, Cleveland defeated Taft, 77-63. Donn Disney, an All-City selection in 1977, led Cleveland with 36 points, including five 3-pointers. Mel Fleeman added 23 points and Mickey Siam had 14 rebounds for Cleveland.
Rich Burns and Alan Kozak each scored 18 points to lead Taft.
