Dear Dingwall Wins Del Mar Feature Race

DEL MAR — Dear Dingwall took the lead in the stretch and held on to win the $23,000 feature race for 3-year-olds and up Thursday on the turf course at Del Mar.
Dear Dingwall, ridden by Corey Black, charged to the front from the rail in the stretch and won by a neck in 1:37 1/5 for the mile.
Getting up for second was 19-1 longshot T.H. Lark, ridden by Gary Baze, while Gypsy’s Prophecy, with Eddie Delahoussaye aboard was third.
Dear Dingwall, a 3-year-old, paid $6.40, $4.80 and $3.40.
