Arab Policeman Slain in Israel Police Station

JERUSALEM — Three masked gunmen burst into an Israeli police station in the occupied West Bank town of Beit Jalla on Thursday and shot to death an Arab policeman, police said.
It was not clear if the murder of Namir Sheik, from the nearby village of Battir outside Jerusalem, was a revenge attack by criminals or carried out by Palestinian guerrillas who view Arabs who work with Israelis as collaborators.
