A U.S. District Court Judge refused to issue an injunction, sought by three former Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. employees, to block the firm from moving its headquarters to Chicago from Akron, Ohio, company officials said. The plaintiffs claimed that Firestone’s company directors made the decision before the annual meeting April 30, a violation of procedure. They also argued that the firm’s 1987 proxy materials and annual report were misleading.
