Pentagon Plans Sale of Tanks to Morocco

WASHINGTON — The Pentagon informed Congress on Wednesday that it has approved the sale of 100 M-48A5 tanks to Morocco.
The Pentagon said Morocco will be offered--subject to congressional approval--the tanks along with machine guns, ammunition, radios and spare parts.
